With a custom kitchen and main living space on the second floor, this modern home exudes bright and beautiful lake views from almost any vantage point. The game room and lounge area on the lower level also make it ideal to host a large group with space to spread out if desired. Fully stocked with everything one might need for a weekend stay or longer, don't miss this 3-bedroom 2-bath winter retreat with sought after outdoor year-round features like the 6 person hot tub and large gas fire feature.
The house sits on a one-way residential street along the lakefront, driveway accommodates 3-4 cars. There is a new walking and biking trail along the lakeshore that makes this home the perfect setting for people watching, lake viewing and outdoor adventure seeking.
We live north of town and can be available if needed, otherwise we like to give our guests as much privacy as possible.

Our winter base rate covers 2 guests with additional overnight guests welcome at $40 per person per night. We created this option to make the home affordable for a quiet couples' retreat as well as the capability for larger gatherings if desired. Thanks for your cooperation on this.
PARKING:
Up to 4 cars allowed in driveway, no parking on gravel or grass. Home is located on a narrow one-way street so please use caution turning into driveway and no cars allowed on biking/walking trail in from of home.
CLEANING AND CHECKOUT
Airbnb is built upon a culture of mutual respect to one another’s homes. We are a shoeless in the house family so in that spirit we ask that you leave your shoes on the main level and off the furniture. Also no drinks or food on the pool table.
Our cleaning fee is designed for overall cleaning such as linens, bathrooms, floors, windows and hot tub sanitization and maintenance. There are basic cleaning supplies provided in the kitchen closet. Please put garbage and recycle in designated bins and start the dishwasher before you leave. You can leave beds unmade of course!
95% of the time our guests have been wonderful but in that spirit, if you leave a large mess for our cleaning staff an additional cleaning fee will apply from your security deposit.
Upper deck:
Deck is outfitted with city inspection approved railing however please use caution with children on the upper deck. Please keep cushions in the storage box overnight and during inclement weather.
Furniture:
Please do not move furniture in house, particularly the sofa as it will scratch floor.
HOT TUB
Use at your own risk, no small children allowed in or near hot tub as well as follow all Indiana regulations listed on sign visibly posted near spa.
No smoking, alcohol consumption or glass near hot tub.
***Broken glass in or near hot tub will result in $500 fee taken from deposit.
Please leave cover on when not in use and place stone on top to prevent wind from blowing cover off.
Return temp to 100 degrees upon checkout and make sure cover is closed.
Use common sense.
- things happen… if for unforeseen reasons the hot tub is unavailable during your stay you will be refunded $50 per day of your stay (not including check out day) as long as the hot tub was not operational at the time of check in.
Noise:
The house is in a residential area and the 2 homes to the south are also vacation rental homes. Although you're free to use outside areas at any time, please keep noise levels to a minimum after 10pm.
*For the hot tub cover, PLEASE leave on when not in use and place the stone on the cover to prevent the wind from blowing the cover off.
FIRE FEATURE
Please leave on only when outside to monitor. No roasting marshmallows or other food on this fire. Feel free to use backyard firepit for these activities. We can supply free firewood, just ask!
