Nestled in the woods overlooking the Shenandoah River with panoramic views of the Mountains our property was elegantly designed, built, and themed as the private family or group destination. This lodge feel home is perfect for all seasons and has tons of outdoor space for entertaining your group.
Features for everyone including 160" 4k theater, BT sound systems, pool table, gaming systems, pinball, ping pong, hot tub, porch swings, fireplace, pellet grill, floating dock, kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, rope swing, and more, its not just a stay, its an experience. Adventure awaits at Hike’s Landing, the exclusive riverfront portion of Pirates Cove. Pirate’s Cove was built around the recreation activities that are available at Hikes Landing. The Dam below the landing makes the water deep giving a lake like feel. The depth averages 15’ and allows for larger boats, Jet skis, water tubing, kayaking, and more. There are several boat landings. We have provided a map if you would like to bring your own watercraft and are welcome to secure it to the dock. Hike’s Landing offers floating docks, kayaks, canoe, rope swing, fire pit, portable bathroom, fire pit, fire wood, chairs, grill, fishing poles, and life jackets for all sizes. Pontoon boat rentals available upon request for an additional charge. Our goal is for you to enjoy the river as much as we do and take full advantage of everything Hike’s Landing has to offer.
There is plenty of parking at the house. Easy access to load your items. The drive to the landing is about half a mile.
We created Pirate's Cove with a vision of offering a magical adventure before we even broke ground. Our goal is truly for you to feel the magic when you arrive. Our guests are royalty to us, we mean that. Every guest is always our top priority and we available to assist you in making the most of your memory.
NOTE: Pirate's Cove sits on a bluff above the Landing. From the home, you have a beautiful full river view. The Landing access is NOT in the backyard. You cannot walk from the backyard and walk on the dock. To get to the Landing, you have two options, WALK about ten minutes or DRIVE and park. Your stay includes ONE end lot at the Landing. There are three lots there. You will have a designated, prepared space with a Pirate's Cove sign for your group. If you would like ALL THREE LOTS, just ask us about reserving the entire Landing. The Landing is a River ready lot. That said, it is on the river. The building that stores all of the items is just a storage building for river items and nothing more. There is a port a potty serviced weekly. It is a beautiful space right on the river and it is prepared for gathering by the river and fire while enjoying water sports. It is AT YOUR OWN RISK and you must sign a waiver before using the Landing. We do provide an online guide to help you make the most of your stay. Parking at the Landing is limited, be prepared not to bring more than three vehicles and to park in the designated spots.
