4 Bedroom Cottage in Youngs Point

Beautiful bright year round cottage on Katchewanooka Lake. Located 1.5 hrs N of the GTA, 15 mins N of Peterborough, and a short 8 mins N of Lakefield.
Our cottage is located on a private road and has a fenced yard for pets. Launch your own watercraft at a local marina and enjoy exploring the Trent Canal System with access to Clear Lake, Stoney Lake etc. or take a short 15 min drive North or East and explore the Petroglyphs Prov. Park and Warsaw Caves Prov. Park.
Whether you're on vacation or working from home....away from home (which we've you covered with a dedicated office table and monitor), wake up to warm sunrises while you sip on a cup of Joe watching our many early rising wildlife (herons, otters, ducks, swans).
Small children can wade in easily with our shallow sandy beach. Although swimming is not ideal off our dock, take the paddle boards into deeper water and enjoy jumping off your personal water raft. Guests will have access to our paddle boards, canoe or 12' aluminum boat.
Love fishing? Katchewanooka Lake is best known for carp, bass, pickerel and muskie. End your evening roasting marshmallows over the open fire pit or by soaking in the 6 person hot tub while you stare up at the starry night. We also provide a variety of board games and DVDs for those rainy days.

Summary: Went here for a short getaway with my family and our dogs. We all absolutely loved it. The dogs loved waking up in the morning to watch the sunrise. We saw swans, loons, beavers and much more swimming by. The cottage looks just like the pictures.
