Positive: The staff were lovely: very helpful and friendly, especially Ynyra, who seemed to be multi-tasking and over everything very efficiently. The dinner was delicious. I had the sea bass and it was beautifully cooked and presented. The breakfast was good value too, so like our local Marston it scored very highly on food The bed and the room were comfy and very clean. There was even a bath. A luxury for us now we no longer have 1 at home. Guestwise and the hotel was very quiet too
Negative: Firstly it took 3 attempts every time to gain access to our bedroom Secondly if, like me, you're a light sleeper, then the constant drone from an air vent in the bathroom is really annoying. I could even hear it with earplugs in. Never come across such a weird system before! There was no way I could shut it down Lastly there was no way to turn on what appeared to be a heated towel rail so the bathroom was chilly. Not too bad in March, but could be an issue in the winter
