Positive: Location is top notch, quiet area and everything is walkable. Less than 3mins to the lake. In 7mins, you'll be at the port where you can get on a ferry to Sirmione. The bus stop is just beside the port, where you can get on a bus to the Desenzano Train Station if you don't want to walk and you have luggages with you. But you can walk there for 15mins, the walk is beautiful. Across the port is the centre of the old town where there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops. Apartment is elegant, modern, same as what you see on the photos. We all feel comfortable, my teenage kids feel very at home. It has everything we need and more! Air conditioning unit in both bedroom and living/dining area. Big smart tv in both rooms. Separate washer and dryer that are discreetly placed behind a big mirror. As for the staff of Italian Homing, I can't thank them enough. Check-in is a breeze. Expectations are clearly set. Communication was never a problem. They are very helpful and patient in answering my questions. Normally, we stay away from new property posts with no review yet. We are so pleased that we gave Pietra & Lago a go. It did not disappoint, everything is perfect.
