The Grandis Getaway is located on Lake Keowee in S.C., 6 miles from Seneca and only 16 miles from Clemson University. This beautiful contemporary 3,500 square foot lakefront home, with sandy beach, covered dock, horseshoe pits, lakefront gazebo, firepit and 4 kayaks and a canoe offers all kinds of fun for family and friends. You also have the option to rent one of our boats or jet skis delivered right to the dock. The house can comfortably sleep 16 people. Within the main living area there are three bedrooms and two baths, including a master suite with a walk-in closet, raised ceiling, full bath and door to the deck. The main living area has cathedral ceilings, wood flooring and a floor-to-ceiling gas stone fireplace. The spacious kitchen has a pantry & breakfast bar. It can seat up to 16 people with the main dining table and optional fold-out wooden table. The kitchen is amply supplied with all the pots, pans, utensils and cooking supplies including crockpot, toasters and blender. There are both Keurig and standard coffee makers with an initial supply of k-cups and coffee provided. The lower level contains two very spacious bedrooms, each with bathrooms, and a common living area w/ a stone gas fireplace, kitchenette, game table and games galore! Enjoy playing pool, foosball or pinball. There is a computer center with an all-in-one 21” computer, printer and high speed Internet which is also available wireless throughout the house. You will also find on this level a separate state-of the-art movie theatre with seating for 16, a 75” 4K widescreen, 7.1 surround sound and a movie library! There are gaming systems including PS3, PS2 and vintage Nintendo 64 with a wide assortment of videogames. Main Level: Within the main living area there are three bedrooms and two baths, including a master suite with a walk-in closet, raised ceiling, full bath and a door to the deck. There is even a digital telescope located in the closet to view the evening sky from the deck. The main living area contains cathedral ceilings, wood flooring and a floor-to-ceiling gas stone fireplace. There is comfortable seating and an open view to the lake. Kick back and enjoy the the tv with a sound bar, DVD and premier cable with all the movie channels. The spacious kitchen has a pantry and breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas burners and oven, built-in microwave and large capacity four door refrigerator/freezer with ice/water dispenser. All kitchen utensils and amenities are provided. Off the kitchen is the screened-in porch overlooking the lake with comfortable wicker furniture. For your convenience there is wireless high speed Internet available throughout the house and wireless phones (long distance calls within the US are free). Lower Level: The lower level of the home contains two very spacious bedrooms, two full baths and another common living area with a stone gas fireplace. There are lots of windows for light and to look out at the lake. Try a game of foosball or sit down at the computer station with hi speed internet and printer. Head on into the movie theatre with tiered theatre seating, 7.1 surround sound, blue-Ray/3D DVD player, a PlayStation3 & movie/videogames library. For your pleasure there is every movie channel & HDTV with movies on demand at no charge to you. There is an electric piano in the theater as well. The kids will enjoy all the toys and kids' video library. There is a kitchenette area with Keurig coffee maker, small sink and microwave. On this level there is another full-size side-by-side refrigerator/freezer & hi capacity washer & dryer. We supply the detergent and cleaning supplies. Outside: The home is located in a quiet cove , perfect for fishing and swimming. A large cement driveway and 2 parking areas offer ample parking for cars and watercraft. Enjoy playing on the basketball court or horseshoe pits by the lake. There is a sandy beach area for the kids to play and swim or to layout and take in some sun. A canoe and four kayaks are there for your use. Standard lifejackets are provided. Enjoy the beautiful cedar gazebo with a hanging 2-person swing, benches & a table. Beside the gazebo is a two-person hammock for lounging by the lake. The yard has a gentle slope, allowing easy access for the elderly. There is a picnic table located below the porchroom protected from the sun and weather. The covered dock has a large deck and bench to look out over the lake. Several public boat ramps are located close by. There are beach and lounge chairs and plenty of water noodles and floats. We supply an assortment of fishing poles and gear. The dock has a swimming ladder to easily get in and out of the water. You will not find a cleaner, clearer lake than Lake Keowee!! There is a firepit in the front with an ample supply of wood and seating within a natural wooded setting. The hanging lights in the trees adds a festive touch. A Weber 3-burner gas barbecue with gas supplied from the main house propane tank is available for your use. These are just some of the features of the house.
