Relax and enjoy the tranquility of being riverfront with water and mountain views across to the Tweed ranges. A perfect family retreat for the water sports enthusiasts, fisherman and surfers. An opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sit back and enjoy this elevated and spacious 3 bedroom house with a large formal lounge, family room, well-appointed kitchen, laundry room and 2 bathrooms. The large bay windows and glass sliding doors provide for spectacular views and open onto the front timber balcony overlooking the river.
The home comfortably sleeps 6-7 with the master bedroom having a queen bedroom suite, television, walk-in robe and ensuite. The second bedroom includes one double bed and single bed, mirrored robe and ceiling fan. The third bedroom also has a double bed, mirrored robe and ceiling fan. The main bathroom has both a bath and shower and the toilet is separate. LINEN IS INCLUDED (you will need to bring your own beach towel). A double carport with room for a small tinnie and/or 2nd car on driveway. The back yard is fully fenced with an automatic gate so also great for the furry member of the family.
You will not find a better location being only a 11 kilometres (approx 20 minute) drive south from the Gold Coast Airport. You have the benefit of the river at your doorstep and both Fingal and Kingscliff beaches only 1.6 kilometres away. Walk 400 metres for brekkie at the renowned “Cubby Bakehouse” or a delicious counter lunch/dinner at the Chinderah Hotel next door. Walk 500m the other direction to taste the freshest seafood & takeaway at Tweed River Seafoods. Like to shop? Drive 5 mins to visit the boutiques and trendy Cafes in Kingscliff.
There are endless activities for all the family from boating, fishing, surfing, swimming, snorkeling and bike riding to exploring the beauty of Mount Warning parks, bush walks and wildlife. Hire Kayaks and stand up paddle boards at Kingscliff Creek or take a guided snorkel out to Cook Island. Tropical Fruit World a 10 min drive away. For those wanting the full experience, visit the Theme Parks on the Gold Coast including Sea World, Movie World, Dream World and Wet'n'Wild.
This home is the perfect family getaway and we will do everything we can to make your stay comfortable. Downstairs is a large rumpus room with shower and toilet for the kids to play games and outside is the BBQ area.
Please note that there are stairs to access the main house. You can enter via the front door or rear balcony.
We have installed security cameras in the external downstairs areas only. This is for your peace and security.

Summary: From the very start to the end, I could not fault our stay with Vanessa, Gordon and Stayz. Communication between the hosts and us was faultless... They kept us informed on all details and went over and above to make our special holiday very special. The location was memorising, waking up to the river every morning. The house was even better than the photos displayed on the site, so clean, tastefully and beautifully furnished but still felt like home. You could always find a cool spot on a hot day. We could not believe our luck. We had so many great little areas to move around without even leaving the house, although a visit to Cubby and the Tavern was a great break away from cooking. We would definitely love to come back. We made so many lovely Christmas memories at your beautiful house in Chinderah! Thank you from our Family!
