Positive: Very well kitted apartment, pleasantly decorated and nicely arranged. Hosts were readily available when we needed assistance. Local town of Kingsbridge was worth a visit but the highlight of the week was the day on the sandy North beach at Salacombe followed by a beautiful sea food BBQ meal at the Winking Prawn.
Negative: Whilst the accommodation itself was excellent, the location didn't quite serve our families requirements. Sure, we had immediate access to the beach which was our primary motivation for booking this venue but our young boys were very disappointed to find that it was a pebble beach. Even the advertised nearby "Blackpool Sands" was a pebble beach. Consequently, we had to travel out to keep the children entertained which became quite stressful due to the long journey times and the cripplingly narrow roads. Over the week we were held up in numerous jams due to few passing places for oncoming traffic and even those were very narrow, resulting in scrapes and damage to my car.
Summary: Great apartment in a remote and quiet coastal town, appealing to adults, not so much for children.
