Tucked away at the end of the road, our quiet Casa on 2 acres has perfect viewing of visiting wildlife at our "guzzler" water hole--depending on time of year, you may see quail, jackrabbits, cottontails, coyotes, 2-3 species of hawks, or even a Great Horned Owl. Hike from the house on the government land behind us, or drive 15 minutes to Joshua Tree National Park for limitless adventure. Hiking, views, terrific restaurants, the Integratron (soundbaths), bouldering, art-sites, vintage shopping and owner-run shops are all nearby! Or cook at home in our well equiped Julia Child inspired kitchen.
If you are a designer or architect, you will appreciate pieces from Cassina, Tom Dixon, Cappellini, Carl Hansen & Son, Thonet, plus the silk, linen and wool rugs that make the house cozy.

Summary: Once again, I had I wonderful and restorative weekend here! I love everything about this property. Allyn is a wonderful and thoughtful host-even refunding me a small portion of my stay because the power company was working on lines in the area and I was without electricity for the day. I look forward to my next visit and another fantastic weekend here!!
