Boasting a high "walkscore" and considered a "biker's paradise", our home is around the corner from the North Berkeley library, and walking distance to Solano Avenue, Shattuck Avenue, and the local shops on Hopkins including the famous Monterey Market where Alice Waters shops for Chez Panisse. There is a 400meter track and public pool around the corner from our house.
Tilden park, that has extensive hiking trails into the redwoods, is just a 10 minute drive.
Enjoy the large back yard with creek running through, spacious deck with corner seating area, side garden, tree house, and garden office. Our tree house is a delight for children and also has 2 swings!
The home features spacious bedrooms and living rooms, stainless steel appliances, built-in cabinets, and hardwood floors throughout. There is a working wood-burning fireplace and a window seat in the living room. The entire downstairs was remodeled within the last 10 years.

Home is equipped with a level 2 electric charger, and 18 solar panels that should provide nearly all electric needs (excluding car charging).

Downstairs has its own living room and bedroom and bathroom (with shower only). It's perfectly quiet and separated from the upstairs bedrooms.
The main floor has a living room, dining room, kitchen.
The top floor (only 5 steps up), has the master bedroom and large office (that has plenty of space for a queen sized air mattress if needed).
There is a full bathroom with shower and bathtub.
All of our furniture is top of the line from Design Within Reach, RH and Maiden Home. The 2 office chairs are brand new Herman Miller Aeron chairs and offer the most ergonomic experience.
Our house is truly our dream home. You will love it and won't want to leave!
