Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: There were 4 types of coffee makers, lots of nice touches like candles, firewood and a bottle of wine. I appreciated the good communication with the owner and new furnishings. There were actually 1.5 bathrooms, but only 3 bedrooms. 1 double bedroom was downstairs. Upstairs, one bedroom had a bunk bed plus a double bed in addition to another bedroom and a living space with a sofa. I appreciated the owner alerting us about the mouse before we got there. There were many nice, thoughtful little touches like hand towels in the bathroom, laundry detergent & a washing machine (which we didn’t use) and a well equipped kitchen. It took about 15 minutes to get to the parking lot at Trysil.
Negative: The driveway is very narrow and our cars got stuck. There was a mouse but the owner alerted us about it and was taking steps to deal with it. We didn’t see the fire pit and the front door swelled up and was hard to lock. There were only 3 large coffee mugs and 4 chairs in the kitchen, but these are minor things.
Summary: I would definitely stay here again!
