Sited on a beautiful pond on top of Parker Mountain in the historic town of Strafford, NH. The house features a large main room, with split log walls and a massive stone fireplace, a fully stocked kitchen and wrap-around porch with antique rockers. The idyllic 19th century estate is furnished with antiques and has an authentic feeling of a by-gone era. The elegant rustic setting is traditional New England and the perfect place to escape. There is a seven acre flat backyard ideal for outdoor events and games. No events are allowed on the property. The Town of Strafford has a 10:00pm noise ordinance. We close the lodge for the winter months due to the lack of sufficient heat. If booking past August please be cautious of the weather. The home is equipped with baseboard heating, two large capacity space heaters and a large fireplace.
