Park View Cottage is a brand new renovation of a 100 year old timber cottage. The house retains all the old charm of the original cottage yet gives us the luxuries of today in such a stylish way.
The location is hard to beat with Blackheath Soldier’s Memorial Park opposite, with it's charming iconic play equipment and established gardens it’s a beautiful walk through on your way to Blackheath village.
The village is a 5 minute leisurely walk past charming cottages and tree lined streets.
The space
There are three bedrooms, two with queen beds and one double sized bed and robes for clothes storage.
There is a separate room for a home office, with a desk. Spare linen is in the robe if needed.
The bathroom is a delight with a large bath and in floor heating. There is a hairdryer and iron located in the storage cupboard in the bathroom. The washer and dryer is a compact laundry but will sort your dirty hiking clothes if needed.
The new kitchen has induction cooking, electric oven, built in fridge/freezer and microwave, kettle and toaster. There is plenty of basics in the pantry to get you through. There is also an espresso pod machine with ample pods to get you fired up for your days activities.
The living and dining areas all connect to a free flowing open plan to enjoy the slow combustion fire and the view to garden. All the windows are double glazed. So you will stay cozy throughout your stay.
The tv has Netflix and ample board games to enjoy while sitting around the fire.
The covered deck is well protected from any wind and is an ideal spot for a morning coffee in the sun.
The garden has been recently planted. So it’s still young and emerging. There is plenty of room to enjoy sometime outside in the sun on the grass.
