This historic 3 bedroom home, built in the late 1880's, rumored to be a hunting lodge, has been lovingly restored. Remodeled and redecorated it is full of old Duluth charm and modern conveniences. A new kitchen was installed in March 2020. New cabinets, stone countertop, new lighting, and all new stainless steel appliances. The cottage is three miles from the world famous aerial lift bridge and Canal Park activities. It is one and a half miles from the Park Point recreation area with sailing and boat launch facilities. The cottage is located in a residential neighborhood, with private beach access. Step back to a time when the pace was slower and relax in your own private beach cottage. Park Point offers many wonderful activities and we are prepared to help you enjoy it with four kayaks, one aluminum canoe, two adult life vests and beach mats and towels. Come prepared to enjoy the sun, but if it should rain, you can enjoy the supply of videos, DVD's, games and books perfect for a relaxing vacation.
