Positive: The rooms were very big and comfortable. But most of all the staff is super friendly and helpful, and in general just very accommodating and flexible - for example card payment has a 3.5% charge and while we didnt have enough cash on the first day they were happy for us to pay later so we can go and get cash in town, and on the last day we were able to check out only at 4pm with no extra charge. Marco Polo is easily reachable and very responsive via whatsapp, and helped us organise a boat tour and gave us contacts for our transfer back to Kochi.
Negative: The location is a 20-25min drive from Alleppey town centre, with not many restaurants nearby, but it wasn't really a big problem for us as the hotel helps you organise a rickshaw to town easily (~500-600 rupees one way) or uber is easily accessible as well (sometimes may be even cheaper than a rickshaw) and food can be delivered easily through the Swiggy app
