By far THE BEST BAY VIEWS on the Peninsula & 'THE HIGHEST HOUSE' in McCRAE', this quaint rustic hill top shackaccommodates 4 adults available all year round, WIFI, A/C, sun deck & modern furniture. Situated on 2 acres of bush land. Nestled at the edge of Arthurs Seat NP surrounded by natural bush & fauna. 3 min drive to beach & shops, 15 minute drive to the Hot Springs. For the best price or any questions you can contact us at salt accommodation. This house is formerly known by locals as the Eagles Nest' has views which stretch to the Port Phillip Heads and beyond. At night the Peninsula below shines like a Christmas Tree! Large windows in the lounge promoting breath taking sunsets. If you think summer is sensational then winter is even better, see the rain as it blows across the bay while you sit cosy and warm next to the coonara fire. View the magnificent array of birds as they fly below you and at eye level. Every ship that comes into Port Phillip turns right in front of you through the channel, there is also McCrae lighthouse just below. Large open plan living area with floor to ceilingwindows all overlooking the sensational bay views. Ceiling fan,wood fired coonara, flat screen smart TV, blue tooth soundbar, dining table & a kitchenette with stove, oven, microwave, fridge, Aldi Pod Coffee machine. Baske on the sun deck and inhale the amazing views! have a BBQ and hang out on the rustic wooden outdoor setting with umbrella. You will feel you are on top of the world. Consiting of 2 queen bedrooms both with bedside tables, lamps and heater (plus there is aresofa bedin the lounge max byo bedding for sofa bed). Large bathroom with a bath tub, separate shower, vanity and a washing machine. There is adequate parking for up to 3 cars with simple access to house from car parking area. ALL BED LINEN IS INCLUDED FOR 2 QUEEN BEDS & 4 bath towels Strictly no pets permitted because of National Park Regulations and there is no fencing - bush setting - this house is not suitable for children under 5or the frail elderley as the block is on a large slope and the decking is very high, the cobble stone path leading up to the house isquite rustic, elderley are welcome of course but may need asistance from the car to the house. About the location of the house: ** This property is on a very steep bushy steep block, has a very high balcony, families with small children must check photos and description to see if suitable we dont recommend the house for children. To get such sensational bay views the house is at the top of a steep roughly paved narrow track/driveway, any vehicle can drive up or down at slow speed except lowered vecicles. At the top is a gravel level car parking area thats fits 2 cars which is an easy walk (slight ascent to the house) its quite exhilarating to drive up and down Karasimo's drive way!!. Because the house is nestled into the edges of the National Park its a serene rustic feel, and surrounded by native bush, you may get a visit from the local possums, wallabies, lizards, birds and more...
