Summary: We have vacationed on Maui many times, but this condo was the best we've ever had for whale watching. My 86 year old mother has mobility issues, but she loved sitting on the lanai watching the whales play in the ocean everyday. One morning, we counted, and we were spotting a whale every 10 seconds! They hang out in the waters right in front of the condo, and your vantage point is high from the 6th floor, so the whale watching is phenomenal.The complex is 2 older high rise buildings right on the coast. They surround a small pool that was heated like bath water. We swam every day and used the grillls by the pool, too. You can also snorkel right in front with the sea turtlles, but keep your distance. There is a small store, gas station, sports bar, and Maui Brewing a short walk away.The unit was clean and adequate. We loved the fact that each bedroom had a king bed and its own lanai. If you prefer twins, the owner can set it up that way as well.We had a couple minor things pop up in the condo and told Andrew not to hurry to fix, but he was right on it. They were fixed immediately. He was the most responsive rental owner I have ever had. I definitely reccommend staying at Andrew's condo.
