Summary: First of all, I have to say the service was excellent and the villa itself was truly beautiful. If you’re planning to stay mainly at the hotel, it’s a great choice. However, the road to get there is quite difficult — it’s up in the mountains and very steep. You absolutely need to rent an SUV if you plan to drive, because a regular car may not be strong enough. We didn’t realize how steep it would be, and it turned out to be a bit dangerous. Also, at night the road is pitch black, with no lighting and lots of sharp turns, so it’s definitely not for nervous drivers. I believe this is something that should really be mentioned in the villa’s description. Other than that, the food is basic and quite expensive… but that’s pretty typical for Santorini in general. Thank you for your kindness !
