Welcome to your home away from home, only minutes away from Lake Fork where you’ll find the best fishing in the nation! Our Stilt House is also close to Lake Tawakoni, Wildflower Wedding Venue, and Canton’s Third Monday Trade Days. We’re just around the corner from boat ramps, playgrounds, picnic areas, and watersports. After a great day of fishing and exploring the area, return home and relax in a spacious 4 BD/2.5 BA vacation paradise. House Rules ➤ Any incident of lewd acts, violence against persons or property, or violation of local or state law will result in immediate cancellation of the booking, loss of all paid monies, removal from the property, and fines/charges for actual replacement or repair of all damages. ➤ Upon booking, you must provide the names and ages of all of the guests that will be staying in our home. ➤ Upon booking, please provide us with valid contact info (Txt/Phone/Email). Providing invalid contact information and/or failure to respond to communications from us within 48 hours could result in the termination of your reservation. ➤ Check-in time is 4 pm. Check-out time is 11 am. Early check-in and late check-out may be available for an additional cost. Both must be approved at least 24 hours in advance. ➤ Parking and driving is allowed on the driveway ONLY. No vehicles, boats, RVs, or trailers are allowed to be driven or parked anywhere else on the property and there is no parking in the street. ➤ No pets permitted. ➤ Quiet hours are 11:00 pm until 7:00 am. Always practice consideration for the neighborhood. ➤ The RV park across the street and their boat ramp are private property and not available to our guests. ➤ Any time you leave the property, you must lock all doors. ➤ Any visitors or additional overnight guests must be disclosed prior to arrival and MUST be approved. The total number of people permitted on the property, guests plus approved visitors, shall never be more than 8. ➤ No smoking or vaping inside the house at any time. If you smoke outside, please be sure to dispose of your butts properly. ➤ No parties or excessive intoxication on the property. NO EXCEPTIONS. ➤ Please do not move any inside furniture or decorative items. Do not take any inside furniture or decorative item outside, nor any outside furniture or decorative item inside. ➤ Broken, damaged, or missing property/furniture will be cleaned or replaced at your cost. ➤ Any toilets clogged by anything other than human waste and toilet paper will be repaired at your cost. No feminine products, make-up wipes, Q-tips, etc. in the toilets. ➤ No fireworks, candles, or open flame of any kind (other than in the firepit) - NO EXCEPTIONS. ➤ No fish cleaning of any kind inside the house. ➤ Guests, who are lawfully permitted to possess a firearm or weapon, may bring such onto our premises for storage purposes only, with the understanding that they are personally responsible for the following: 1) Guests must abide by all Federal, State, and local laws 2) Firearm and weapons must be appropriately registered 3) Firearms must be unloaded 4) No cleaning of firearms is permitted on premises 5) No discharge of firearms on the property. ➤ Security monitoring, such as video, and audio recording, devices are in use on the property (exterior only). ➤ No tampering with security cameras, electronic, or internet equipment. ➤ The person making the reservation must be at least 28 and staying on the property. In no event shall the renter assign or sublet the property in whole or in part. Violations of these rules are grounds for expedited eviction with no refund of any kind. ➤ Accidents happen, we know this. Please inform us immediately if anything is broken or damaged so that we can address it. ➤ Guests hereby acknowledge and grant specific permission to the Owner to enter premises at any time for inspection purposes should the Owner reasonably believe that Guests are causing or have caused any damage to the property. Guests further agree to grant the Owner or Owner’s contractors, access to the property for purposes of maintenance and repair. ➤ Any violation of the above house rules may result in the cancellation of the reservation and eviction with no refund and a 500.00 fine. Damage or losses will be charged back to the guest at replacement cost. ➤ No refunds will be provided due to inoperable appliances, internet service, etc. We will make every reasonable effort to assure that such appliances will be and remain in good working order. No refunds will be given due to power blackouts, water shortage, flooding, snow, construction at adjacent properties, or mandatory evacuations of the area by county officials due to tornados, hurricanes, flooding, or other potentially dangerous situations arising from acts of God or nature. ➤ Before your departure, we would appreciate it if you would take care of the following: ❍ Leave all used beds unmade. ❍ Place all used towels in the hamper provided in the main bathroom. ❍ Make sure all kitchen appliances and dishes are clean and put back in their proper place. ❍ Place all trash in the trash can provided on the front patio. ❍ If you used the metal chairs on the open deck, please be sure to stack them up, the way you found them. ❍ Check all doors and windows to be sure that they are locked. The house is not childproofed and may not be suitable for small children.
