2 Bedroom Cabin in Eagle River
The Lakeside Cottage is part of Bart's Cottages (including one other rental and our home). We are located 5 miles from Eagle River on 175 acre, spring-fed Meta Lake, which has no public access. We have a launch area with room to dock your own boat. Our location between Eagle River and Three Lakes offer a variety of dining experiences and many things to see and do. The Lakeside Cottage is 45' from the lake. It features a comfortably furnished living area that is a backwards "L" layout, well-equipped kitchen/dining area, two bedrooms, bathroom and entry porch with plenty of storage space. The living area features two seating areas with one having a futon couch. There is a gas fireplace, HD TV/DVD player with Directv. The kitchen is well equipped for food preparation and dining with a refrigerator, full-sized electric range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. One bedroom has a queen bed and tv with Directv. The other bedroom has two twin beds. Outside you will find a covered patio with dining set up and Weber grill. Resort amenities includes use of a pier and fishing boat (motor rental available). We have a swim raft, two kayaks, a canoe, a paddle boat and two SUP's available for your use, plus life jackets and boat cushions. There is a fire pit, playground, lawn swings and green space to play lawn games or just run around. We provide after-stay housekeeping and use all natural cleaning products. We provide bed linens, kitchen towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, coffee filters, salt, pepper and some sugar, plastic wrap and foil. Bring your own bath and beach towels. Meta Lake is 175 acres and has no public access. The lake is home to musky, walleye, northern, bass, crappie, perch, bluegill and sunfish. Guests have success from the pier or a boat. The lake is clean and clear for swimming and our area has a sandy bottom. We put the raft at shallow diving depth and have an assortment of floats for your enjoyment. The fall brings spectacular colors and visits by migrating water fowl. Winter brings ice fisherman and those wanting a quiet place to relax. We are not on the snowmobile trails, but there is access by road.
