2 Bedroom House in Pass Christian
Oyster Reef Cottage, our beach retreat can be yours. Golfing, Fishing & Birding are really great! Located just 45 minutes from New Orleans, it is a world apart. Custom built 8 years ago our home is set in a stand of majestic live oak trees, which makes it a birders paradise for watching resident and migrant birds. The home is beachfront with a very wide, very deep, very private screened front porch spanning the front of the home. Follow the oyster and shrimp boats fishing on the Mississippi Sound of the Gulf of Mexico. Golfing and fishing are year around activities here on the MS Gulf Coast - 2 excellent golf courses located in Pass Christian. Fishing pier located just down the beach at our harbor. Or take a charter boat out for deep water fishing in the Gulf.
Our private pool is large and features a pleasant deck with table and chairs for picnics. Small Charcoal grill provided. Walk the sidewalk 1/2 mile to town for our favorite Cat Island Coffee Shop and Pass Book Store, or many great restaurants and wonderful local shops.
NON-SMOKING PROPERTY
The interior of the home has 12 foot ceilings, beautiful crown molding, ceiling fans and wide pine floors throughout.
The large living room is highlighted by French doors opening onto the front porch, and a wood burning fireplace. We also have a sleeper sofa. The dining room seats up to eight and includes a floor-to-ceiling closet with wine cooler. The kitchen features a double wall oven, gas range top, granite counters, lighted wall pantry and lots of cabinets and shelf space. The kitchen is fully stocked with all pots, pans and dishes required. Bring food. Laundry room with washer & dryer is off the living area.
The master bedroom, with king size bed, faces the beach and opens onto the screened porch through French doors. The guest room, with a queen bed, overlooks the pool. Each bedroom has its own full bath.
In this quaint little town, you can enjoy golfing, tennis, fishing, boating, walking and hiking, beach combing, sunbathing and a beautiful harbor filled with historic fishing boats and modern recreational craft. Downtown Pass Christian features wonderful restaurants, pubs and gift and specialty shops.
Golfers really appreciate the two golf courses located in Pass Christian, Timber Ridge and The Oaks, plus multiple others on the coast. These are popular year around with our mild weather.
Boaters/Fishermen - there are 5 boat launches within a mile of Oyster Reef, plus multiple public piers, and of course, salt water wade fishing right out our front door.
