Positive: We had a pleasant stay overall, and the location was excellent – close to everything and easy to get around. However, we’d like to share a few points that could improve the experience for future guests.
Negative: The apartment was very basic. It was stated that kitchen equipment was included, but it was very minimal. There was no dish brush or washing liquid, and we would have appreciated wine glasses. Toilet paper was also listed as included, but there were only about 1.5 rolls for four people staying several nights. We would also have appreciated basics such as hand soap. I recommend either clarifying this in advance or providing more. It gave the impression of being set up with the bare minimum, and we had to purchase these items ourselves. We booked for four adults, and bed linen and towels were supposed to be included. However, only one bed was made, and there were towels for two people. After contacting the host, we received more towels and some extra sheets after a few hours – but no duvets or duvet covers, only flat sheets. The cleanliness was okay, but not thorough – our socks quickly got dirty from walking on the floor, and the kitchen surfaces didn’t appear to be carefully cleaned. The listing said check-out was at 10:30, but the information inside the apartment said 10:00 with a strict check-out policy. That inconsistency led to some changes in our plans. Lastly, the listing photos showed two fans, which were not present during our stay. These would have been very helpful during the 30°C days. All in all, the stay was fine and the location fantastic, but we hope these points help improve the experience for future guests.
