Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Wonderful place. Friendly and helpful host. Reasonably quiet (except for some occasional noise coming from the the camping at the harbor). Great setup for families with (small) kids
Negative: A few minor comments though: the house is not really an 8 person house, yes it sleeps 8, if you count the pull out sofa, but the house itself and the facilities are not really suitable for 8 people. We where with six and it was already tight. For instance the inside dining room table only seated 4 and most of the dishes and cutlery was not enough for 6. And we had to schedule showering due to limited hot water. Luckily the boiler heated up quite quickly again. Also, there are no curtains, just really sheer inbetweens, so if you have trouble sleeping with daylight, bring a sleeping mask. Another thing is the dogs, it's really nice that families can bring their pets here, but the center court is basically one big playground for kids, so having the occasional dog poop or pee around, is not ideal. In general it is a nice and cosy place with very welcoming and helpful host and we had a wonderful time.
