Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The accommodation is either new or newly renovated, it's clean, has two air conditioning units, a large bathroom, two double beds, two sofa beds, and a kitchenette that is part of the living room. The owners also prepared a nice touch, providing coffee capsules for the coffee machine and tea.

Negative: What slightly concerned me, however, was that after confirming the reservation, on the day of check-in, I received a WhatsApp message stating that to get the code for the accommodation, we had to register on the landlord's website. We had to agree to their terms, upload a photo of our passport (or ID), and most importantly, pay a €150 deposit. The hosts stated that the deposit would be returned within 14 days after check-out (in reality, I received it back the day after check-out). I must admit that I didn’t like this system; I didn’t expect it, nor was I informed about it in advance by Booking. I'm not used to Booking holding any money physically. Moreover, you find yourself in a situation where you basically have to agree, especially when you're already at the accommodation with childrens and need to get inside. Apart from this issue, I would recommend the accommodation, but it's important to be aware of this and be prepared for it.
