Positive: I loved the location of the property, very close and within walking distance to St. Catherines. The host was very friendly, outgoing, and welcoming. She made my stay very personal and helped me attain the cultural perspective I was seeking during this visit to St. Catherines. I enjoyed the "houseguest" feel, it gave me the feeling of what it is like to live in the area, as opposed to a large, impersonal hotel stay.
Negative: What could have been better has nothing to do with the host or the property but with the lack of detail provided on Booking.com regarding the type of property and the type of stay to expect. I had no issues with my visit, but I was under the impression this was a bed and breakfast and not a stay in someone's apartment. Again, this was fine with me, but it would be helpful for the host for Booking.com to provide greater detail so there are no potentially unpleasant surprises for both future guests and the host. Otherwise, there was nothing I did not like or enjoy about my stay.
Summary: Culturally immersive and enriching. I enjoyed the hospitality the host offered me.
