Positive: Great apartment with comfy room, kitchenette and main room. Very clean and great location two minutes from the beach and shops.
Negative: We came in two months in advance to ask if we could check in early and we're verbally told it would be no problem. We had travelled through the night and we're needing a sleep when we arrived at 8am. For reasons unknown the hotel is unstaffed om Friday, which is bizarre in peak season. We were able to communicate with Christina on the booking.com app and she informed us we could check in at 3pm. We explained that we had been told we could check in early and she made the big mistake of not apologising, which would have been frustrating but fine. It's the simplest thing in terms of manners and professionalism to say, "I'm really sorry about that. We have a guest in, would you mind coming back at 3?" But that didn't happen and we were angry. I requested a phone call on the morning of arrival but this didn't happen. We didn't bother going to reception the next day to check in and left the key in the door when we left on Sunday as it seemed fitting.
Summary: Really good place - communication/professionalism needs to be improved though.
