Olive Tree Cottage is a beautifully restored, larger than average, Georgian cottage with three bedrooms which sleep six with space for an additional two children in the master bedroom or adjoining landing space.
On the ground floor of the cottage there is a large fully fitted kitchen with a table which seats up to six and includes a tv and radio to keep everyone entertained. The kitchen comes with high quality appliances and a good range of cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, mugs and cooking utensils. next to the kitchen is a reception area which is a lovely space where children can enjoy the toys and books provided. There is a large Lounge with two comfy sofas, a wide screen Tv and fireplace. In the lounge is a large dining table which seats 6.
On the first floor there is a large master bedroom with king size bed and ensuite bathroom. There are a further two cottage style double bedrooms and a family bathroom with shower.
There is a lovely and peaceful enclosed private cottage garden with outdoor seating and a large outdoor dining table and chairs. There is parking for up to 3 cars.
The cottage has a privileged position very close to the centre of Bakewell, just a 5 minute walk on the flat to the shops and restaurants.
Bakewell is a thriving and lively market town in the heart of the beautiful Peak District National Park, it is close to the magnificent Chatsworth house, thought to be the inspiration for Pemberly the home of Mr Darcy. Chatsworth house has a rich history in its own right and offers something for all the family. Also the gardens of the Medieval Haddon Hall in Bakewell are one of the most romantic in the whole of England. Do come and see for yourselves!
