Positive: Location was great. Lovely grounds for dogs and plenty of space. Peaceful. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food served in pub was very nice.
Negative: We were initially given what looked like a basic double classic room (very small ) but we had paid for a superior. The original room Definitely did not justify the cost per night. Manager did move us to a higher spec room at our request which made our stay enjoyable rather than disappointing. Would expects Rooms to have had a mini fridge for the room rate of £300 per night.
Summary: Location was beautiful, hotel and restaurant well placed for a relaxing break.
