Old Factory House, sits on the banks of the river Senni in the small hamlet of Defynnog, 10 miles west of Brecon. With a new Hot Tub for guests to enjoy. Located adjacent to the Woollen Factory this house has been lovingly restored to provide comfortable, fresh, modern accommodation in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. Close to the popular Brecon Beacon mountain peaks of Pen y Fan, Corn Ddu and Cribyn and the Brecon Beacons National Park Mountain Centre just a few minutes up the lanes. Craig Y Nos Country Park and Dan yr Ogof Showcaves are less than ten miles away. This cottage is ideal for families or a group of friends with its spacious kitchen and dining room looking out to the large garden. Patio doors lead out from the kitchen to the terrace/ garden and down to the banks of the River Senni - perfect for a summer or winter BBQ. The property offers plenty of space for the children to run around, but care will be needed near the river. A quiet and comfortable base from which to explore the Brecon Beacons, its village location means that the village pub, The Tanners, is just a 150 yard walk away or less than 2 miles down to Sennybridge for the Usk & Railway or White House pubs, Glanusk garage with the ever popular thriving cafe offering wonderful all day breakfasts. Sennybridge also has a Spar shop and Post office. The medieval Church of St Cynog, is located a short walk from the property and is home to what is thought to be Europe's oldest living thing - The Defynnog Yew Tree is believed to be over five thousand years old!
