Welcome to the off grid tiny house on the farm. Don't worry, it's not very off grid with it's flush toilet, hot water in the shower, wifi, and the hot tub! This is our smallest tiny house and is best suited for folks seeking the unique tiny house experience. This tiny house was built by someone who went to a local university and we're excited to continue to share the unique experience of staying here on our multi acre urban farm.
We prefer to not rent to smokers and we ask that folks who stay here help minimize their waste and their environmental impact along with helping us recycle your food and other waste. This is a real flush toilet, don't worry there. Please only flush human waste and toilet paper in the toilet as it will break the toilet if anything else goes in there. We allow one dog per stay with an additional pet fee that can be paid through airbnb after you book.
This space is a little more rugged than our other tiny homes, it's also an actual tiny house with the creature comforts you can expect from professional hosts. Our obsession with protecting the environment is only matched by our obsession with our guests experiences here on the farm.

We recommend travel by car at this location and we have an in house shuttle service for extra fees.

This "Off Grid Tiny Home", is located behind the barn. Follow the signs, the tiny home is first gravel road to your right. You do not need 4-wheel drive to access, although we ask that you be advised of the driveway space. Guests can have access to everything in the home. While you’re welcome to visit the horses in the fenced area. We kindly ask you stay outside the fenced areas and never open the gates. Feel free to feed our horses apples and carrots. Please do not feed the chickens. If you bring dogs please make sure they are on a leash at all times. Do not flush anything down the toilet other than toilet paper and human waste that it’s designed to take. The house is on a special grinder pump that will break if you flush anything else. The bathroom has about 7 gallons of hot water. Once it’s gone it will take some time to heat back up. 5 minute showers are encouraged.
The house is exclusively rented to you although you may see us come and go in the distance as we work and play on the farm. Our full support staff is always on call for any needs that may arise. We prefer communication through the Airbnb app so we can communicate clearly and effectively. If an emergency arises, please call the phone number listed in your reservation.
The house does have well water with an advanced filter. It's fine for cooking and bathing but there may be some sediment in the water from time to time. Hot tubs are cleaned and sanitized after each reservation. We treat the hot tub water and sometimes it gets a tint to it from the mineral content. Because of this there are some calcium deposits. Occasionally, the water will have a brown tint or have a brown ring around the hot tub. Please shower before entering the hot tub. Please leave the temp set to 104 and leave the lid on the hot tub when not in use.

We do offer high speed wifi, although we cannot always guarantee. We do our best to provide you with a reliable network, although it can occasionally be touch and go. Please let us know if this happens and we will do our best to resolve any issues. We kindly ask that you never unplug the wifi.
CHECKOUT is at 10AM. We have a short cleaning window and we kindly ask that you checkout at 10:00 am. Otherwise if you are there past 10AM we will charge for another day.
When leaving please just make sure that no dirty dishes are left in the sink.
Don’t worry about stripping the sheets we will take care of that!
Make sure you have all of your things.
Please bag all trash before leaving.

Restaurants recommended are Oyster House and U-Joint on Haywood Road - This is some of the best beer and best food in town. It's the best burger I've ever had….. the BOLT is also a favorite. Everything there is amazing and I've never been disappointed.
Owl Bakery has an amazing brunch selection on Sundays
Pizza Mind - Brand new spot on the corner on Haywood road. Local owners, great beer selection and great food.

El Que Pasa or Papas and Beer - El Que Pasa is on Patton Ave and Papas and Beer is on Tunnel Road. They're basically the same restaurant with two locations. This is the best mexican food in town.
Ichiban in Biltmore Village is amazing for sushi.
East Village Grille has the best wings in town, and the rest of their food is amazing as well.
If you like beer, check out the breweries on the south slope… Burial, Wicked Weed, Twin Leaf, and Funkatorium are awesome, just to name a few.
Plant is a great vegetarian/vegan restaurant.
Sunny Point Cafe on Haywood Road is a staple in Asheville. Beware the long waits for breakfast… Dinner is also good here.
Homegrown on Merrimon Ave is an amazing place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
