This exceptional seaside home has everything you need for an incredible vacation! A wall of bay windows offers unobstructed views of shining white sands and sparkling Gulf waters. The richness of the interior of this vacation home is exceptional: it features finely finished woods and a coastal chic décor with exposed beams and the warmth of tongue and groove ceilings.
The charm of this true post and beam home starts at the front door! Right next to the entry is the stunning kitchen, which offers all new stainless appliances, stone counters, and an ergonomic open design. This space features views of the beach as well as being open to the living/dining areas, allowing the chef to interact with the whole family while cooking.
The South Wind offers dining space for everyone. The indoor dining area includes a hand-finished table and chairs for six, plus seating for four at the breakfast bar. Bring everyone together for an unforgettable meal looking out to the stunning views.
The living room area lends itself to conversation and making memories with its unique round shape and plentiful seating. Entertainment for guests includes a large smart TV, a collection of books for readers of all ages, and plenty of games.
Off the living area on the first floor is a bunk room (single/single). While the room is open, it is tucked away offering privacy, views of the Gulf, and access to the adjacent bath.
The adjacent SW main bedroom features a king bed, exposed beam ceilings, a large smart TV, and direct access to the large, covered porch with its beautiful Gulf views and charming swing. This bathroom also includes a double vanity, beautifully tiled shower, and a stunning soaking tub.
On the southeast side, there is a queen bedroom that features a large smart TV, floor-to-ceiling glass doors, and direct access to the large covered porch.
The stairs to the second floor split off, offering complete privacy towards separate king bedrooms on this floor. Both include exposed beam ceilings, wood floors, large smart TVs, and private balconies with unobstructed views of the Gulf.
For all of the amenities to be found inside the South Wind, there’s even more outside the doors! The exterior of this special vacation home offers a sparkling private pool (heated for a fee), six-person hot tub with big sky and ocean views, a private boardwalk that takes you directly to the Gulf beaches, a fish cleaning station, private outdoor shower, gas grill, double park-style grill and a large outdoor fire pit with seating for ten.
St. George Island is perfect for your next trip away. Local shops, restaurants, St. George Lighthouse Museum and playground, State Park and the Island multi-use path are close by. The trendy arts, shopping, and culinary scene of historic Apalachicola is just fifteen minutes by car!
