If you are looking for a private beach retreat that offers romance and adventure, Los Chonchos beach is the location for you. Casa Blanca is an open air Palapa style home located in Eco-Preserve MarSelva, also know as, 'Chonchos' to the locals, it lies just one hour south of Puerto Vallarta Mexico on gorgeous Banderas Bay. To get to our unique property from the Puerto Vallarta airport take a taxi cab ride to Boca de Tomatlan where you catch the 9am or 3pm water taxi Nayeli to Los Chonchos beach. From the airport to Boca plan on a one hour cab ride along the beautiful coastline. At Boca you can buy basic supplies, tortillas, beer, tequila, fruits and vegetables etc... From Boca the one hour water taxi ride takes you along the beautiful coast, stopping at seaside villages in route to Los Chonchos beach. Returning from Chonchos to the airport or Puerto Vallarta the water taxi stops twice daily at 11am and 5pm. For flights arriving after 1 pm in Puerto Vallarta you can stay the first night in Old Town and enjoy strolling along the water front Malecon, visit galleries, shop, have a lovely dinner on the beach and relax in one of the many hotels before leaving for Chonchos the next day at 9am or 3pm. If you would like hotel recommendations we are happy to assist you. There are a few favorites from $50 to $120 per night in great Old Town locations. Our oceanfront palapa home overlooks one of three pristine beaches offering peace, quiet, and beauty in every direction. Casa Blanca has a queen bed, one full bathroom, full kitchen, dining area, great room with comfy overstuffed sofa and chairs. The expanded deck with lounge chairs and cushions overlooks the ocean and beach below offering a great place to siesta, whale watch or sunbathe. The beach is a one minute walk from the casa where you can hop on our two person Hobie kayak for an ocean paddle or grab the snorkel gear to explore the many species of multi colored fish.
Whale watching right from the deck is incredible from Nov.thru March, expect dolphin and manta ray sightings too. Swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, hiking, bird watching, sunbathing, yoga, exploring or just to get away for some much needed rest and relaxation........exotic paradise awaits you!
