Located approximately 5 miles south of Kailua village, Kanaloa has beautifully landscaped grounds, covered parking near your condo, 3 swimming pools with spas - 1 is oceanfront, and 2 tennis courts.
If you enjoy golfing, Keauhou Country Club ocean course, and the mountain course are near this complex..
Nearby Keauhou Bay offers sailing, snorkel and other sightseeing cruise opportunities along with fishing or just enjoying the fabulous view. For your shopping needs, the Keauhou Shopping Village is only minutes away where you will find a grocery store, movie theaters, several restaurants, Long's Drug Store, Post Office Substation, and other shops.
Your home away from home is equipped with everything one might need - a full kitchen (renovated in 2018), dining room, hi-speed internet, 2 bedrooms, 2 large full baths and a comfortable living room. Brand new blinds throughout condo (2023), a full Master bathroom remodel in September of 2022. Guest bathroom remodeled October of 2024. This condo has everything you need for your vacation.
Off the living area is a covered lanai with wet-bar directly on the shoreline. Whale watch, see the spectacular sunsets, or do nothing but listen to the waves!
There is a new sofa in the living room with dual recliners on each end. We've added a queen sized airbed for "extra" guests.

Summary: This is a really good place, it's in a great location, right on the water, in a quiet complex away from anything busy, but still close to Kona and beaches. The property manager was awesome, friendly, helpful... The place was recently remodelled (partially) and though everything wasn't working from being off during the remodel, there was no issue getting everything up, running and settled and the property manager made everything go as smooth as possible.The one downside... This is a ground floor unit, meaning there is a unit above. When we first arrived, there was no one in the above unit. A few days later, it was very clear that someone moved in and anytime they were moving themselves or furniture we would know, particularly the first day when they must have been jet lagged (and we were sleeping). It wasn't that bad, just that we had a few silent days to know the difference. If this sort of thing doesn't bother you, I'd say this is the perfect place. Or... if you wanted to sleep on the balcony, the only thing you'd hear is the ocean.
