This beautiful ocean view condo, located within the oceanfront Sand and Sea, is a fantastic place for your next beach vacation. With a full kitchen, gorgeous views, and a convenient location close to the beach and downtown, you'll have the time of your life here!
Located right on the Promenade, just a couple of blocks from Seaside's wonderful attractions and businesses that line Broadway Street, this condo is within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and more. And, since it's in an oceanfront complex, you can be on the sand in minutes!
With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, this fifth-floor condo is an ideal size for four guests. Don't worry - you won't have to carry your luggage up any stairs because there is an elevator.
Inside, you'll have an open living room with cozy seating and a TV with a DVD player and VCR. There's even a large library of family-friendly VHS movies and a selection of books and board games for all ages, so everyone will be entertained in between trips to the beach. If you're traveling with kids, they will be delighted to find baskets of sand toys to make your time on the shore even more fun.
A full kitchen has all the major appliances (even a dishwasher for easy clean-up), as well as plenty of cooking tools and dishes. Whipping up tasty, home-cooked meals here will be a breeze! Sit down together at the dining room table, where you can enjoy your meal while looking out the enormous floor-to-ceiling windows that span the south-facing wall.
The balcony has a view of the town, Tillamook Head, the Coast Range, and, if you look to the west, the sparkling ocean and coastline. This balcony has incredibly comfortable chairs and would be a fantastic place to sit, relax, and enjoy the views. You could even bring your favorite book and a cup of coffee outside and breathe in the fresh air while listening to the waves crash on the nearby shore.
Back inside, one bedroom offers its own TV with a DVD player. One full bathroom is attached to the primary bedroom and offers a tub/shower combination. Two air mattresses allow for extra sleeping space.
Free WiFi is also provided, making it easy to stay in touch with your loved ones back home or to keep up with work email. This home is ideal for a couple or two, a few close friends, or even a small family of up to four. Interestingly, this particular condo has had a very famous guest - Ronald Reagan stayed here while he was campaigning for governor of California!
Since the beach is so close - just on the other side of the Promenade - you can easily stroll over to enjoy the sand and surf. The 1.5-mile Prom parallels the coastline and is a fantastic place to go for a run, bike ride, or scenic walk. If you stroll north just two blocks, you will find yourself on bustling Broadway Street, the main drag of town. There are plenty of family-friendly restaurants, fun souvenir shops, candy stores, and even a large arcade! Seaside is well known for being a great family destination, and you may like to visit the child-friendly Seaside Aquarium, take your teens kayaking on the Necanicum River, go for a ride at the Carousel Mall, or rent bicycles for a fun ride around town!
Elsewhere around town, you will find a golf course, outlet mall, parks, and plenty of coastal charm. The mouth of the river, just to the north of town, is a great place to go clamming. If you like to hike, Tillamook Head and Ecola State Park, both to the south of town, are fantastic options. And, with nearby towns including Cannon Beach, Gearhart, Astoria, and even Tillamook within an easy day trip, you will have no trouble finding ways to stay busy.
