Summary: A very special place - the house itself is simple but comfortable with what you need including good air con, and a great large outdoor area with comfy and shady places to sit and watch over the sea with the noise of the waves. Loved the outdoor shower too! Part of a set of about 4 or 5 other small houses, so you don't feel totally secluded but it felt quite private and they weren't all occupier or busy when we were there (mid Jun). We had our own parking space, and houses feel secure in a gated area a short drive down a single track. Very amazing to walk down the stairs and straight onto the beautiful sandy beach for a swim or walk...and just 5/10 minute walk around the bay are 3 or 4 different beach restaurants and bars open lunch and evening. Quick drive into Sciacca for supermarkets or to explore the town. We also did daytrips to Agrigento and Palermo each about 1.5 hr drive so very doable, or just explored the nearby areas (recommend Cretto Burri!) Stefano and Roberta were excellent hosts, great communication throughout.
