On pristine Nowland Lake, just a few minutes from downtown Charlevoix, and located in an isolated quiet valley, our clean little cottage with ceramic tile throughout, is perfect for couples or young families. 600 feet of frontage includes a sandy beach, 2 docks, and plenty of room to stroll around or play. You will enjoy a quiet respite from the busy pace of downtown Charlevoix. Fishing, swimming, and viewing wildlife (turkey, deer, coyote, mink, beaver, eagles, and loons) are the main occupations of relaxing at Nowland Lake. The western view from the cottage provides gorgeous sunset shows and amazingly dark starry nights. Take a 10 minute drive into Charlevoix for shopping, dining, festivals, bike rentals, boat rentals, and all kinds of resort town fun. Petoskey, Bay Harbor, Harbor Springs, Boyne Mountain, and Traverse City are all within a one hour drive. Our cottage is part of a condominium, (10 separate cottages facing west toward the lake), with unobstructed western views and 600 feet of direct frontage on the lake. Nearly all owners are 'weekenders', so it's usually very quiet. There are several fire pits available and a charcoal grill for your personal use. There are not many homes on the lake, so it is very quiet. The interior includes tile floors, comfortable furniture, and a bedroom with a queen size mattress. A shared washing machine and dryer are available for your complimentary use in a separate building.
