Phenomenal in any season! Recreation and relaxation await in this upscale, sun-drenched lakefront retreat with 100 feet of private waterfront with sandy beach. The 46 foot deck and lower level patio offer stunning views of pristine Silver Lake. Windows and sliders make up most of the back of the house, drawing the lake into almost every room. There is summer fun for the whole family at the private sandy beach just steps from the back door -- swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, and jumping off the dock or water trampoline. You're welcome to bring your motor boat for fishing or water skiing. Step away from the tranquility of the house to view fall foliage, hike, ski, ice skate, snow tube, or snowmobile, to name a few activities. Our roomy home is ideal for extended families or multiple families traveling together, with 5 large bedrooms on 3 floors, along with both indoor and outdoor gathering spaces on two of the floors.
You won’t feel crowded in this casually elegant space. The main level master bedroom has fantastic views of the lake and access to the deck. It has a queen bed, sitting area, and private bathroom. The other first floor bedroom has two twin beds and is near another full bathroom. On the second floor, one bedroom has a queen bed and sliders to a balcony with incredible views of the lake. The other bedroom sleeps four people in two twin-over-twin bunk beds, with pocket doors in between the beds that can be used to create two separate rooms. A full bathroom completes this floor. The lower level offers a private bedroom suite with a queen-size bed and a full bathroom.
You will love the spacious chef’s kitchen, which includes a large island, a generous breakfast area with two sliders to the deck, and a wine fridge. The kitchen is open to the living and dining area, where you can eat at the gorgeous oak table, relax in one of two seating areas, and enjoy water views through the two additional sliders opening onto the deck. The main level living room includes a TV and a decorative fireplace, and the flexible seating can be arranged into a single conversation area for larger groups. Send the kids downstairs for an evening of fun in the lower level. Here, you will find a living room with a large seating area and TV with Wii, as well as a game room with a pinball machine and foosball table. There is something for everyone!
The home includes two TVs with HD cable, and wireless internet service. There are also books, puzzles, and games. The mudroom is the perfect place to kick off your sandals, and there is a washer and dryer in the lower level.
You’ll have exclusive use of the private sandy beach (with water that gets deep gradually and has a sandy bottom), dock, water trampoline, paddle board, canoes and kayaks. The dock has plenty of space for you to bring a motor boat. Take your coffee out to the furnished deck; bring your book down to one of the Adirondack chairs; jump in the water; explore the lake in a canoe, kayak, or paddle board; or go for a swim. When your stomach starts rumbling, grill on the deck and roast marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit. For a unique local experience, head to the Barnstormers Theater in Tamworth or go see the Madison Boulder. Please note that the water trampoline is in the water from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and the dock is in the water from Memorial Day to Columbus Day.
