Travel Purpose: business
Positive: Thilina and his family were super lovely, they really went out of their way to make me feel at home. The apartment is beautiful with all new appliances and sheets etc. and very clean and modern. The garden is beautiful and I spent most of my stay sitting on the balcony working on my laptop watching the birds and squirrels playing. Its not too far from the beach, about 20 minute walk to Polhena. There are one or two local restaurants in the immediate area, and a really big fancy supermarket 5 minutes down the street, and lots of corner stores around. Its about 25 minutes walk to The Doctors House, a local bar. I also got a gym membership while I was there, the place is just across the street so it was very convenient. Wishing Thilina and family all the best and many good experiences with guests in the years to come!
Negative: The only thing that wasn't exceptionally good about the place was the location. There was nothing wrong with it, but it was nothing special either-- neither in the jungle nor right on the beach. Having said that the neighborhood is full of beautiful trees, and its far enough from the main road that its nice and quiet, while also being very close to walk for the bus. So hard to complain really.
