Nestling in an idyllic location amidst stunning scenery with extensive views of Nidderdale, this cottage, The Old Cooling House, stands in a tranquil position within the private grounds of Dougill Hall,Summerbridge. Recently renovated to provide comfortable and cosy accommodation it has all the things you need for the perfect escape to the countryside. Enjoy breath taking views over Nidderdale and mile and miles of walks. There is one main bedroom with a double bed. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room.
The Old Cooling House is set in the ground of Dougill Hall but also has its own private garden, patio with seating, BBQ and secure parking for two vehicles. There is also use of a picnic area that is shared with the main house that has picnic tables and a children’s playground. In addition there is a further four acres of secure private land and wild meadow that are adjoined to the property and you are welcome to use.
Travel cot, high chair, baby bath and bouncer/bumbo available upon request.
Laundry facilities are available in the boiler house and safe and secure storage for bicycles, fishing equipment etc. is also available. Additionally, there is also the use of a shotgun cabinet on site if needed. If you are looking for a longer stay or want to explore further afield we have a VW four berth T5 campervan available to rent at additional cost. Pets will be considered upon request.
