Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Super convenient location - a few minutes walk from the train station near one of the main pedestrian streets, and a few minutes walk further to the waterfront. Free wifi, friendly reception staff. Single room was actually very generously sized for Europe, plenty of hangers to air clothing (not so much closet space but plenty of places to hang hangers around the room), small study desk. The windows even opened, although climate control worked well inside the room. Comfortable bed. Small but functional bathroom with environmentally friendly shower soap. I stayed for two nights and there was plenty of space to spread out and rearrange my bags for different day trips (hiking vs boating/beach). There wasn't much accommodation available when I was looking, so I am so glad I found this little hotel! I didn't try the hotel breakfast but there are cafes around anyway.
Negative: The shower was very small, and it was hard to move around the shower with the shower curtain without bumping the shower taps on/off!
Summary: Great location - easy to find from train station yet close to town centre and waterfront activities
