Whether you are looking for a hunting, fishing or fun in the sun or snow retreat, a romantic getaway, or just a vacation with the whole family, you will find our cozy cottage will more than please!
Our cottage is located at Lake Winnipeg, one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world, a short 15 minute drive from the town of Gimli, or 70 minutes from Winnipeg. With a thriving commercial fishing and hunting industry, and tourism around the many festivals through the Manitoba Interlake throughout the year, this cottage is at the center of it all.
The Gimli area offers great food, shopping, boating, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, hiking, and even a motorsport park!
This cottage is in a lovely treed area (no lake view), and bodes privacy from the hustle and bustle, with lake access only 1 block away (see photos for lake access). Provincial pathways can also be found all along the lake for your group to enjoy a lovely walk along the waters edge. Pathways span a great distance, so bring your running shoes!
Cottage is a beautiful 1950s character home, with double attached secured garage with 9’ door. With all original hardwoods and woodwork, you will find a very cozy feeling.
Tons of upgrades completed in 2020/21 including new appliances, several new pieces of furniture, new bedding and pillows, even a Weber barbecue. And the best yet....a brand new 16'x32' sand box.
We have a fully stocked kitchen with everything you will need to prepare those fabulous meals, down to over 25 types of spices, flour, sugar, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, pancake mix, etc. Just bring your regular meal items. We even have main floor laundry, fully stocked. This 3 bedroom cottage will sleep up to 8 guests. Amenities include: queen bed, double bed, single over double bunk bed, twin air bed, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, Blu-ray player, selection of DVDs, books, games, puzzles, toys, fully stocked with linen’s, towels, small selection of bath products, cleaning supplies, laundry detergents, and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need and much more!
You will find we also have ample parking for your RV or trailer on our 150' x 20' driveway.
Check in is 4pm and checkout is 11am.
