Beautifully located overlooking Lake Simcoe and steps above our sandy beach, This Newly renovated Cottage with hardwood floor offers the perfect retreat for guests. With a living room with comfortable seating, electric all-season fireplace, flat-screen TV and glass doors to a spacious deck, There is a kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave. There are two bathrooms: one is a four-piece bath adjacent to the living room, and one is an ensuite bathroom in the double/twin room. Guests will have access to walking trails and a shared private sandy beach area.

No Loud Noise allowed after 10 pm outside and do not disturb your neighbor.
Parking with “parking permit” in designated parking spots ONLY, NO parking is allowed on the road. (Parking permit will be providing when check in if needed)
Wear face masks and practicing social distancing. (2 meters away from each other)
Limitation of 10 people per group in public areas.
Suggestion: Do not drink water directly from the tap.
No boat or jet ski allowed to stay or park within the 100ft from shoreline.
Keep their garbage inside of the property when checked out.
Bugs and wildlife may appear around the property and this is normal as these are country style cottages. (Some bugs may enter the room when door is open)
The lake and beach area does not have lifeguards. Using the lake at your own risk. For guests who are under 18 need to be monitored by their guardians when enjoying the lake.
Smoking is not allowed on the beach. Only smoke in the designated area.
Guests need to collect their own garbage before they leave the beach. (There is a garbage bin in the beach area)

Summary: The post for this cottage was misleading and promised things that were not present. For example, the hot tub and fire pit not being available. There are 4 properties managed by the same host and all share a backyard. The hot tub and pools are only available in the largest cottage NOT this one although it is in the photos. The fireplace and other items near the water are shared with the other properties and you are not guaranteed to use it if others take the space first. The fact that you are sharing the space is also something you are not informed of until you arrive. The cottage was extremely cold, and some lamps we not working. Much of the electricity in the cottage is not working which is why heating only worked in certain rooms and many of the lamps did not even turn on. The biggest let down was the wifi not working. We could not watch Netflix and one of our guests had to leave early because she had a meeting and needed good wifi connection. Lastly, we shared these issues with the host after our stay and did not even receive a response. The positive I can say about this cottage is the lake is in the backyard of the home and is beautiful to see. It was also quite clean when we arrive and our group was able to leave it clean too with supplies like brooms in the closet. Overall this was not an enjoyable stay. Our plans were derailed because the cottage was falsely advertised and the host did not deliver on promises.
