Creekside House is a charming newly renovated 1932 bungalow situated on Callicoon Creek in the quaint town of Jeffersonville, NY, in the western Catskill Mountains! A short walk to the local supermarket, bakery, restaurants, and antique stores. Easy drive to surrounding areas and towns, including the Delaware River, Bethel Woods, Villa Roma, and popular Catskill fly fishing spots.
Located on Main Street, Creekside House is the perfect spot for those who want the ease and convenience of living in a small town. The backyard is a gem of a spot for those quiet afternoons in the hammock, wading in the creek, and for a BBQ. The fire pit located along the creek is an evening favorite. The big front porch is the prime viewing spot when the Main Street Tractor Parade goes by!
Creekside House is a cozy vintage house decorated with attention to every detail. The woodwork and hardwood floors throughout have been restored to their original character. The new lighting fixtures and appliances give the house a clean, modern feel. Creekside is as quaint as it is comfortable, decorated with antiques, mid-century furniture, and original artwork by local artists.
Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, one with a single bed and the other with an antique brass double bed. The Sitting Room overlooking the creek is a quiet space to work at the desk, read a book, or take a well-deserved nap in the cozy chair.
The Master Bedroom located on the first floor is furnished with an antique oak double bed and matching dresser. The Living Room has a 32" Smart TV with plenty of seating to socialize and play games.
The newly renovated kitchen eat-in kitchen is the heart of the house, with a big farm table perfect for family meals. The kitchen features new cabinets, major and small appliances, cookware, and dinnerware. There is a separate pantry stocked with additional cooking supplies.
The bathroom’s Jacuzzi tub is so relaxing after a long day out.

HOUSE RULES:
- All adult guests must upload a US Government Photo ID and the rental agreement must be signed and returned within 24 hours of the reservation made.
- Maximum occupancy for this property is 4 registered guests per Sullivan County’s Housing Code.
- Free on-premises parking is available 24/7 for up to 3 vehicles in the designated area.
- No parties, large gatherings, or events are allowed. If violated, your reservation will be canceled immediately, and there will be no refund issued.
- Out of respect for our neighbors’ quiet hours are 10:00 pm - 8:00 am.
- This is a smoke-free property. No smoking of any substance or vaping inside the house, on the porches, or in the yard.
- Please do not wear shoes in the house.
- Do not move indoor furniture around the house or take it outside on the porch or in the yard. The outdoor picnic table, fire pit, and propane grill should not be moved from their designated spots.
- Fires in the fire pit cannot be left unattended and must be fully extinguished after use. Do not dump the ashes or charred wood on the ground. Please use the provided metal bin located near the woodpile.
- No bleach or products containing bleach or hair dye are allowed in the house. If you use acne medication that contains benzoyl peroxide, please bring your own towels to use. Benzoyl peroxide will bleach the towels.
- Reservations over 14 days must be approved by the host.
- LIght cleaning is required every 10 days of stay. Our cleaner will change the bedsheets, refresh the towels, and do a quick wipe-up of the kitchen and bathroom. We do not charge for this extra service. We will give you 24-hour notice before our cleaner arrives.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE & GUIDELINES:
- Children of all ages are welcome, but Creekside House is not “baby proofed” as it has a steep staircase, tables with sharp corners, and such. The house is furnished with antiques, so we ask children not to jump on the beds and engage in rough play.
- To ensure you get settled in and have a great start to your stay with us, we have provided initial household supplies and toiletries, but these may not be enough for your entire stay, and you may need to purchase additional items.
- A 32" Smart TV is located in the living room. Netflix, Hulu, and many other apps have been pre-loaded, so you can sign in to your own accounts to stream content.
- The heating thermostat is located above the couch in the living room. When you leave for the day, please lower it to 60 degrees to help us conserve energy.
- Vintage houses like our place don’t come with central air, though we do have four window air conditioners (installed for use June - August) and multiple window and floor fans. To conserve energy we ask that you not set air conditioners lower than 68. It's a small house and it will cool quickly. We suggest that you close the bedroom doors when you are in the rooms with the air conditioner running as it will cool more efficiently. Evenings in the Catskill Mountains typically cool down to 65 degrees or lower. It will be comfortable unless the area experiences unusually high temperatures.
- We are in a country setting located along a creek so please expect to see bugs and critters such as raccoons, bats, and deer from time to time. Remember they are more afraid of you, so keep calm and they will move along. Just a reminder to keep the window screens down and doors closed at all times especially in the evenings so you don't have an unexpected house guest!
- There is a washer and dryer in the basement for your use as well as an iron, ironing board, and drying rack.
- If the cold water has not been turned on for a while it may initially come out warm. To remedy this turn on the left faucet (cold water) in the bathroom sink and let it run for 3-4 minutes until it's cold. Use the timer on your phone as 3-4 minutes is longer than you think!
- When you turn the kitchen spigot towards you, it will be hot water, and it will be cold water when turned away from you.
- You may notice a temporary sound when the furnace or the water pump kicks on. The furnace provides heat for the house and hot water. The water pump fills the tank so you'll have ample water at your disposal.
- Our house is located on Main Street in the village, and you may hear occasional traffic go by.
