This unique property features a 5 bedroom, 4 bath home that was formerly the Linden Valley Inn at the foot of the popular Catamount Mountain Resort. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the main level with the Kitchen and living room. Downstairs are two bedrooms with two bathrooms. The 5th bedroom is large with two bunk beds for 4 children. A TV surrounded by two couches and a foosball table will keep children comfortable and busy. Renovated in the Fall of 2019 the home has a beautiful open kitchen, dining and living room area with beautiful views of the ski trails and a big(soon to be landscaped) pond just 50 feet from the windows. Adjacent to the home is a newly renovated 4-unit duplex that can also be rented. Literally on the NY/MA border, seconds from Route 23, this property is 3 miles from Hillsdale, NY and 4 miles from South Egremont , MA. Great Barrrington, MA is 8 miles east . Tanglewood is 30 minutes north. For summer outdoor enthusiasts, there is golf nearby at the Copake Country Club, The Egremont Country Club and 9 holes at the Undermountain Golf Club. The South Taconic trailhead is a ten minute walk from your doorstep. 4 miles away is the Appalachian Trail where it crosses Jug End Road. Country roads off of Route 23 in Western MA are extremely popular for cyclists. For dining out there are so many choices. The Swiss Hutte is 100 yards from your door step. Driving east into S. Egremont, MA, John Andrews is a mile away. Old Mill and Moms Restaurant are 3.5 miles and The Barn - with live entertainment - is 4 miles. Driving west down the hill into Hillsdale, NY you have O's Country Diner, the Hillsdale House Restaurant, Mount Washington House Restaurant, Crossroads Restaurant and the new Roe-Jan Brewery.
