LOCATION, LOCATION!!! Newly remodeled and refurnished, under new ownership and management. Possibly one of the best rentals in all of Wild Dunes. Located in the heart of it all. This beautifully decorated, pristine Charleston style tri-level home is located in the popular Grand Pavilion area of Wild Dunes. Approximately 300 feet from the beach! With an open floor plan and quick access to the community pools, boardwalk, and beach, this home is perfect for your beach getaway. This home is a 2 minute walk to the beach, tennis, golf, pools and dining! Features 4 bedrooms with 4 ensuite bathrooms. Sleeps 8-10. Kitchen, dining and living areas on the first floor, as well as access to 2 large porches (1 screened-in with ceiling fan) provide the perfect accommodations for your family or group. Relax on the bed swing or in the rocker on the screened-porch. Water filtration system installed in kitchen. Rinse off after a fun day at the beach in the outdoor shower and then fire up the grill.
This home comes with complementary access to the Grand Pavilion pools, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Ping pong table and beach toys/chairs are located in the garage.
Parking – please do not park in the street. Use garage/driveway or park at the tennis club parking lot (1 min walk). Space for 3 cars in garage/driveway.

Summary: The location in Grand Pavilion is ideal for the beach and pools. And the floor plan worked for our family of 6 (4 kids). No access to Wild Dunes fitness or tennis-FYI. The property overall was clean but it is tired and needs work. Although cute and nicely decorated with an efficient floor plan, there were lots of issues. Water pressure was non-existent in all the showers (our kids used the outside shower bc it was at least decent). One of the secondary baths didn’t get hot water in the shower at all. There was water literally sitting inside a light fixture (past roof leak?). There were drywall patches poorly done, etc. Maintenance came, dumped the water, and left it exposed to dry out. We decided pursuing maintenance on our vacation just wasn’t worth it. Also, the kitchen was pretty poorly stocked. Although the listing says renovated, it’s really just lipstick. Cabinets in kitchen are painted (not replaced), new paint and flooring. Bathrooms do look nice but don’t work well. The swinging bed on the screen porch was the best part of the house (aside from the location). Honestly, because it was clean, the AC worked, and we loved the location, we didn’t complain while there. I would not rent it again, unless the owners clearly deal with the problems. Also, bc it is well located, you do not need a golf cart if you have a car. We rented this last minute, so we were happy the location and the floor plan worked well for our family. Hope this helps!
