A newly purchased and tastefully refurbished modern styled first floor apartment of 682 sq ft in the heart of La Torre Golf Resort and just a short walk of 1 minute to the resort centre, bars, restaurants and golf centre. Just 50 yards across from the Spar shop which stocks a large selection of UK brands. La Torre is a very secure gated area with 24 hour on site security
This secure first floor apartment is ideal for families or sharers and overlooks a lovely well maintained pool and garden area. The property comprises of a large open plan living space with lounge and settee that comfortably seats 4 and dining area that leads through double width sliding doors onto the balcony with outside dining table and seating and room for sunbeds. The balcony is south west facing and enjoys sun most of the day. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare food with a new Bosch fan oven and an induction hob. The bathroom has been refurbished with new units and has a shower over bath with screen and safety hand rail. The master bedroom has a king size bed and fitted wardrobes, bedside storage, hairdryer, and doors opening to the balcony area. The second bedroom has two single beds with wardrobe and bedside storage.
Additional benefits include ample communal parking, double glazing, central heating, and air conditioning in living area and both bedrooms .There is a security safe for the use of renters
Communal areas include a nice entrance hallway with lift and rear door access direct to lovely gardens with children’s play pool, and two large swimming pools with gated fencing. The doors security lock and access to non residents is by ansaphone.
Resort areas include lovely lakeside walks, communal pools, tennis courts, petanque, play areas, football area and a stunning golf course which is a challenging Jack Nicklaus designed 18 hole, par 68 championship course. You will find a variety of restaurants including an Italian and a snack/icecream bar. Pino’s bar has a relaxed atmosphere and the Clover bar shows live sports, There is also a tapas bar that opens seasonally. During the high season there is a large Friday night market with plenty of stalls and live music. There is a cashpoint, large SPAR supermarket, souvenir shop/newsagent, pro golf shop, hair and beauty salon and onsite fitness class.
The local town of Roldan is a 5 minute drive away with many restaurants and bars, sports facilities, banks, supermarkets and shops, and a local farmers market weekly (along with numerous other markets in the general area). The beaches of the Mar Menor and Mediterranean with their marinas are from 15 minutes travel by car and the lovely resort of Los Alcazares is only 20 minutes away. The new Corvera (RMU) airport is just 20 minutes away and Alicante airport is also just over 1hr away by motorway. La Torre has great motorway links and a train station located in the local town of Balsicas with links to the historical and beautiful cities of Barcelona, Cartagena, Madrid, and Murcia.
The local culture is both diverse and interesting with the surrounding towns hosting traditional fiestas and events throughout the year. Virtually every water sport you can think of is enjoyed here by many year round including diving, jet skiing, sailing and wind surfing plus plenty of bowling golf, cycling routes (both road and mountain) historical walks, hiking, horse riding all within 15 minutes of the resort. There is a cinema showing English language films on Tuesday and Saturdays and a GoKart track in Los Narejos near Los Alcazares. Ten Pin Bowling and and an amusement centre are in the Dos Mares shopping centre with a Carrefour hypermarket and numerous small shops and eateries again just 20 minutes away.
