Summary: We just spent 8 nights at Casa Algeria in late January 2022. We have stayed in several houses in La Punta over the years, but it has been 12 years since we have been there, and we will definitely not take that long to come back!! We had a fabulous stay here! The house is great - all bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and the master suite is very large with large bedroom and bathroom plus an absolutely stellar view! Every room has ocean views and the view from the open air living area/pool area is also fantastic. Definitely, do not hesitate to hire a cook. Arcelia was so sweet and made amazing meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner! You can have her surprise you or also give her some guidance on what you would like - we did both, and loved every meal! Myrna was an excellent housekeeper, keeping everything neat and tidy and even doing laundry for us. We hired a driver, and had Francisco who was the sweetest man! He does way more than just driving, but will book you excursions, tee times, etc. etc. and also was very helpful in getting our covid testing completed - he tried to book someone to come to the house, but they don't come on weekends, so we had to go to a laboratory, and it was extremely helpful to have someone interpret for us. Wifi was totally fine if everyone on vacation and just doing web surfing, etc. but if anyone has to do some WFH it could be a bit more robust. Our daughter needed to work several days, and couldn't do video calls - had to do over the phone, and at times slightly glitchy for her. Hopefully, you are not coming to work and this won't be an issue. as it wasn't for the rest of us. La Punta is an amazing development in Manzanillo, and Casa Alegria is a great choice for your stay here!! Could not have been a more relaxing time for us.
