This bedroom has southern style curtains, blinds, and new curtain rods with an exquisite touch of class! There's plenty of natural light during the daytime and the night curtains shut out the lights at night. The windows open with screens so you can let the natural air flow through the house from the master bedroom to the second bedroom to the living room as you wish. This bedroom has beautiful, natural hardwood floors. Newly-installed Bonvivo Massimo Desk with folding chair and smart phone charger lamp.
SECOND BEDROOM available to groups larger than one or two persons. This bedroom remains locked unless it is requested specifically for groups of more than a married couple such as two single persons requiring separate bedrooms, or if you have a child or a house-trained pet.
LIVING ROOM
The living room ornamental glass front door is connected to the front porch which has a small round breakfast table and chairs, ottoman, and serves as the second breakfast nook in the house after the breakfast nook in the kitchen's french double doors which open out to the private backyard area. The living room is connected to the master bedroom, the master bathroom, and the kitchen, so there are four doorways connecting the living room to the rest of the house. It has a very large (newly curtained Southern style!) double screened windows facing West Eagle Street, you walk right out to the classic front porch with beautiful view along the corner of North Leverett Avenue and West Eagle Street and the Razorback Nature and Bike Trail. There is a ceiling fan in the living room, central air conditioning and heating thermostat, with brand new sofa sleeper, SmartTV with natural wood entertainment center for storage, comfortable lounge chair with natural wood and leather ottoman, teakwood table stand with beautiful Asian white lamp. There's also an elephant from Asia in the corner supporting the 5G internet router. The flooring is natural hardwood and there is an impressive round carpet in the middle of the living room with matching perimeter pieces. Guests are requested to remove shoes at the doorway, to prevent bacteria and pathogens from entering the house during covid-19.
KITCHEN
The kitchen flooring is natural bamboo newly installed, along with carpet pieces matching the carpets in the living room. There is a newer full size 5 burner gas oven range, brand new refrigerator with ice maker, toaster, microwave, full set of flatware, dishware, cookware stainless cookware, storage bins and other accessories essential for cooking and eating in. There's a breakfast nook with new oak wooden table and wooden chairs near the rear French doors with built-in privacy blinds. There's also a mini size ceiling fan in the kitchenette.
MASTER BATHROOM
There is one full bathroom in this apartment, it has a full size vanity sink with full size mirror and lighting, a full size shower and bathtub, a standard size toilet, tile floors and tile shower area, 100% cotton towels, bath mats, and all of the needed accoutrements. The hot water heater and HVAC systems are inside the closet adjacent to the bathroom. The scrub brush for the toilet is also located in this closet. There is a light switch.
YARDS
FRONT YARD
Sits along N Leverett Ave on the corner of W Eagle St. It has Kentucky Burmuda gass which should be full developed by Spring, 2022. There's a natural stone sidewalk running from the stairwell at the front porch/driveway area. The mailbox sits along the sidewalk, FYI for long stay guests to get their mail. The postman (USPS), Fedex and UPS will also deliver to the front door and sidewalk/driveway gate if you prefer rear side deliveries. UBER/LYFT will pick up along W Eagle Street at the driveway entry from streetside, and Walmart Home Delivery will bring your groceries to the front porch entry or driveway rear side fence gate which remains locked unless you open/unlock it.
BACK YARD.
The backyard has a sidewalk which is connected from the driveway via the secured wooden gate. It's completely fenced in with locking gates. Pet friendly host will allow you to have one pet during your stay. if it's a dog, it can roam freely in the fenced in yard. A pet is allowed, but must be paid as a guest
BIKE AND MOPED STORAGE AREAS
There are two safe and secure storage area for bikes and mopeds, and guests will be given the lock codes to access the bikes for free usage as long as the bikes are kept locked and they are returned clean to the same location they were removed from..
THERE'S A PRIVATE STUDIO UPSTAIRS WITH SEPARATE GATED ENTRY IS NOT PART OF THE VACATION RENTAL AND HAS A QUIET SINGLE PERSON
There is an upstairs Studio apt, used as storage as well as temporary housing from time-to-time for one quiet person, which has a private entrance at the right front yard side fence gate, and its own private stairwell, so there won't be any contact between the single person upstairs (without pet) and the guests downstairs. Quiet hours start at 9:30pm, and there will be no noise made after that time.
NOTE TO DOG AND PET OWNERS.
Please be transparent if you have a dog or pet, and wish to book a reservation at this highly-desired property. Your "house-trained" pet is "welcome," but there are a few rules and policies which must be followed and respected. If not, no worries, please take your animal elsewhere. First, you have to register is with the property owner, and confirm its age and if it is "house-trained," and take responsibility for taking it outside to do its "business" at the appropriate, scheduled times in either the gated yard around back or take it for a walk. Only one pet per group is allowed inside the apt at any time, and no "visiting pets" are allowed, sorry! Next, you have to pay for the additional cleaning required to get its smell / odor and hair once you have checked out. You must also agree to run the vacuum cleaner on the carpets before checking out to ensure that minimal hair is left on the carpets which causes odor. Third, please confirm that your pet will "not rest or sleep" on any of the furniture in the apartment, only the floors. This applies to "service animals" and "emotional support animals," there are "no exceptions, and this is "non-negotiable." If you don't agree to these rules and policies, kindly find hospice for your pet elsewhere, because it's a great burden and expense of time and cleaning to be respectful to future guests who don't want to smell your animal. Finally, pet paws must be "wiped clean" whenever they enter the house. An additional pet deposit and one guest registration cost to accommodate "one" pet per group. Again, if this is too much burden for pet owners, then please don't bring them, sorry!
