Welcome to our charming little plant place, just a three minute drive from Universal Studios. This is a one bedroom apartment that is attached to the end of our main home, but is a completely separate apartment. It has a beautiful view of Lake Cane, and features our plant wall with real plants.
The living room boasts a 55 inch smart TV, two couches, a small desk space that overlooks the lake, and two barstools that overlook the kitchen bar.
Everyone is welcome here!
The home has four total rooms including the living area, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom.
Home features include a keyless entry lock, alarm system, high speed wifi, air conditioning, heater, washer/dryer, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide alarm.
The living room is equipped with a 55 inch smart TV, two couches, the beautiful plant wall, and a small desk with comfortable chair. From the windows you can see the nightly fireworks at Universal.
The kitchen features an oven, stove, refrigerator, table, microwave, air fryer, Keurig, French press, infused tea pot, purified water at the tap, a full pot andpan set, cutting boards, knives, silverware, cooking utensils, full dish set, and wine glasses.
The bedroom has a queen size bed with an oversized comforter. The mattress is comfortable. The mattress, box spring, and all pillows are covered with sealed, full zip protectors. There are two dressers with plenty of drawer space and a small closet with hangers. We have a reading lamp on each night stand that also has a wireless charger for your phone.
The bathroom has a full shower/tub, toilet, sink, and a small stackable washer/dryer.
There is a parking pad available in the front of the house, or street parking is available as well.
There is a bench outdoors on the small patio that overlooks the lake.
Our main home has a screened patio that you also have an entrance to. We keep many plants on the patio and have a nice patio lounge area. Our guests are welcome to use this shared space.
We have private access to the lake. There is curretly no sitting area at the lake, but you are welcome to bring your own water toys (kayaks, paddle boards, etc).
Things to consider:
- Between the house and the lake is a very busy road. Light car noise can be heard in the living area throughout the day.
- The home is older and has its quirks. The stove and washer/dryer are older looking, but they work great.
- The parking pad has to be accessed by pulling in through the sidewalk. Any vehicle can fit. We also welcome parking on our street and may be able to accommodate in our main driveway.
This is a wonderful and safe area of Orlando, just on the front end of the elite area of Windermere. We are just three minutes from Universal Studios.
There is a beautiful park just a half mile away that includes tennis courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball, outdoor workout equipment, and more.
Everything you could need is within a short distance. There is a Starbucks and other nearby coffee shops, we are close to Millenia Mall, and grocery stores in every direction including Publix, Whole Foods, Fresh Market, WalMart, and more.
I work from home in the main house and can be available at most times, though we are very laid back and will give you complete privacy. We will communicate with you as much or as little as you like. We are here to make it as accommodating and pleasant for each guest based on their own preference.
I am happy to give each guest a tour upon arrival or can simply give you the codes for access.
The plants in the home need watering once per week or two. We are available to help or can send a friendly reminder about plant watering for those with longer stays.
