Visit the charming and historic downtown of Lake Placid, home of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics, and visit the cozy restaurants and lodges along the way. While a car is necessary to explore the entire area, our home is just a short distance from Main Street, offering abundant choices for your enjoyment.
The Lodge is under a half hour to Lake George, Bolton Landing, and Gore Mountain, and under an hour to Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain. In surrounding small towns, you will find other hidden gems. This area is a home for adventurers, and "relaxers" alike, offering many of your favorite winter and summer sports and activities. We love our furry friends and cannot imagine family trips without them! We welcome dogs to our home (2 max at a time) which would require refundable deposit after the cleaning crew concludes the home was left in original condition. We have a document outlining Pet Rules that will be sent via the messenger at the time of booking.
